William Zartler | Founder and Chairman

William Zartler is the Founder and Chairman of Solaris. William brings 28 years of experience to Solaris, with an extensive background in both energy industry investing and managing growth businesses. Prior to founding Solaris, William was a Founder and Managing Partner of Denham Capital Management, a $7 billion global energy and commodities private equity firm. He led Denham’s global investing activity in the midstream and oilfield services sectors and served on the Investment and Executive Committees. While at Denham, William served on the boards of numerous portfolio companies, including NGL Energy Partners (NYSE:NGL), Gulf Atlantic Operations, Kitimat LNG, Freebird Gas Storage, Cadre Proppants, MS Energy Services and Greene’s Energy Group. Previously, William held the role of Senior Vice President and General Manager at Dynegy Inc., building and managing the natural gas liquids business. Prior to that he held the roles of Feedstock Trading Manager and Business Analyst at Dow Hydrocarbons and Resources. He received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. He completed the Stanford Business School Executive Program and serves on the advisory board of the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.

Greg Lanham | Chief Executive Officer

Greg Lanham serves as Solaris’ Chief Executive Officer and Director.

Greg has more than 27 years of operating and investing experience in the global oil and gas industry. From December 2015 to December 2016, Greg was co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Accendo Services LLC, where he advised private equity firms and credit investors on various investment opportunities in the oilfield services sector. Greg was CEO and Director of FTS International, the largest private oil field service company in North America. Prior to FTS International, he was the global head of energy investments at Temasek Holdings, an investment holding company with $250 billion in assets under management, where he led investments in E&P, midstream, downstream and oilfield services. Prior to that, Greg spent 20 years with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation in various leadership roles globally, including president and general manager of Anadarko’s Asian subsidiary.

In July 2015, he was selected as the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2015 Southwest in the Energy category. This annual awards program recognizes business leaders who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Greg serves on the board of directors of Stallion Oilfield Services and was a former director of CONSOL Energy Inc., Venari Resources, FTS International, amongst others.  

Greg holds a Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma and completed executive management training at Harvard Business School.

Kyle Ramachandran | Chief Financial Officer

Kyle Ramachandran serves as Chief Financial Officer for Solaris. Prior to being named our Chief Financial Officer, Kyle was our Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy, where his responsibilities included identifying growth opportunities, evaluating and structuring transactions and collaborating with financing partners. Prior to joining Solaris, Kyle was a member of the Barra Energia management team, a First Reserve and Riverstone sponsored E&P vehicle based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Before joining Barra Energia, Kyle spent two years at First Reserve Corporation (Greenwich, CT), a global energy-focused private equity firm. Prior to First Reserve, Kyle worked in Citigroup’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group (New York). Kyle received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the Carroll School of Management Honors Program at Boston College, where he graduated cum laude.

Kelly Price | Chief Operating Officer

Kelly Price serves as Chief Operating Officer for Solaris. Kelly brings more than 38 years of experience across the broader oil and gas service industry to Solaris. Prior to joining Solaris, Kelly was a consultant for Ascendo Resources. From 2014 to 2015, Kelly served as Senior Vice President of Pumping Services, Wireline and Logistics for FTS International, the then-largest private oilfield service company in North America. Prior thereto, Kelly served as President, US for Trican Well Service from 2010 to 2013. Kelly began his career at BJ Services, where he spent 32 years, including senior roles such as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Vice President of West Division Sales and Rocky Mountain Regional Manager. Kelly began his career as field operator in Alberta, Canada.

Christopher Powell | Chief Legal Officer

Christopher Powell serves as Chief Legal Officer for Solaris.

Christopher brings more than 16 years of broad practice experience to Solaris having represented both public and private companies during his career, most notably in the energy industry. Prior to joining Solaris, Christopher served as Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer for CARBO Ceramics Inc., a leading technology and services company providing products and services to the global oil and gas and industrial markets. Previously Christopher worked for Baker Hughes Incorporated as the company’s lead mergers and acquisitions and securities counsel, as well as division counsel for one of its business units. He began his career with the international law firm of Norton Rose Fulbright (formerly Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P.) working in the firm’s corporate and business finance section. Christopher obtained his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Houston Law Center, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Christopher is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant and worked as an auditor with Arthur Andersen LLP prior to obtaining his law degree. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Texas A&M University, where he was selected as a member of the Mays Business School Fellows Program, an undergraduate professional development and leadership program.

Cindy Durrett | Chief Administrative Officer

Cindy Durrett serves as Chief Administrative Officer for Solaris. Prior to being named our Chief Administrative Officer, Cindy was our Vice President of Business Operations. She brings over 30 years of midstream and oilfield services experience to Solaris. Prior to Solaris, Cindy was the Director of Business Planning and Capital Projects for Cadre Proppants. She was responsible for developing and leading several growth projects for Cadre. Prior to Cadre, she served as Managing Director of Dynegy Midstream Services, where she provided leadership to several sectors of the organization including IT, regulated energy delivery, natural gas liquids and midstream. She led the distribution function for nearly 1 million barrels per day of natural gas liquids in the Dynegy System. Cindy began her career at Ferrell North America, where she managed the operations for the energy commodities trading business with product lines including natural gas liquids and refined products. Cindy received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Park University in Kansas City, Missouri, where she graduated with distinction.

Lindsay Bourg | Chief Accounting Officer

Lindsay R. Bourg serves as Chief Accounting Officer for Solaris. Prior to joining Solaris, Lindsay served in various roles of responsibility for Sabine Oil & Gas Corporation, including, Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller from July 2009 to April 2017.  Lindsay also served as Controller for Sabine Oil & Gas LLC, a privately held upstream company which actively engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas through debt and equity financings of nearly $4.0 billion. Prior to Sabine, Lindsay held management and senior level positions at Davis Petroleum Corporation, Burlington Resources and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Her accounting experience spans both public and private companies within the energy industry for over 15 years.  Lindsay obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Texas State University, where she graduated magna cum laude and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Greg Garcia | Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing

With more than 33 years of experience in the oilfield service industry, Greg brings a deep knowledge of all facets of pressure pumping services, including cementing, hydraulic fracturing pressure, coiled tubing and completions to Solaris. Prior to joining Solaris, Greg served as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Loadcraft Industries, where he led the market introduction and sales of two new product lines: Mobile Proppant Storage and Handling Systems and Portable Transloading Systems.

Greg spent more than 31 years with the Western Company of North America and its successors, BJ Services and, ultimately, Baker Hughes International, where he held positions of increasing responsibilities. His assignments included Regional Sales and Operations Manager in Mexico for seven years and Director of Strategic Integration for the Southeast Area of the U.S. Land Division, where he oversaw all BHI drilling, completion and production product lines.

Greg serves on the Board of Directors of the Petroleum Club in Fort Worth and is a member of SPE, AADE and Dallas Petroleum Club.
